EDDY CURRENT SEPARATORS
How it works
A high‑frequency magnetic rotor sits inside the conveyor’s head drum. As non‑ferrous metals pass over the belt, rapidly alternating magnetic fields induce eddy currents within the particles. These currents create a repulsive force that ejects aluminium, copper, and other non‑ferrous metals forward, separating them cleanly from the remaining material stream.
This process delivers:
- High separation accuracy
- Improved product purity
- Higher recovery rates at increased throughput
- Consistent performance even with fine or challenging fractions
