VIBRATORY FEEDER
How does a vibratory feeder work?
A vibratory feeder uses controlled vibration to move bulk materials along a tray or trough at a consistent and adjustable rate. Vibration is typically generated by twin motors, electromagnetic drives or mechanical systems, causing the material to advance in small increments towards downstream equipment. Vibratory feeders are commonly used to transfer material from storage hoppers, bins and bunkers to conveyors, screens, magnets and other processing machinery.
The vibration not only moves material efficiently but also helps spread product evenly across the width of the feeder. This improves material presentation, enhances downstream equipment performance and contributes to more consistent processing results.
