For ultra-precise separation of fine non-ferrous metals, the Magnapower Superfines Eddy Current Separator delivers unmatched performance. Engineered with a high intensity and high frequency rotor, it excels at recovering metals from material as small as 1–2mm. This specialist unit retains all the robust features of the standard Magnapower ECS — including the eccentric rotor, sealed belt system, and rapid belt change design — while offering enhanced separation force and throughput.

Ideal for fines processing in demanding recycling applications, the Superfines ECS combines Rare Earth Neodymium magnets with a variable high-speed conveyor to maximise recovery and purity. Optional integrations such as vibratory feeders, drum magnets, and inverter-driven control panels ensure seamless operation and adaptability.

How it works

A high-frequency magnetic rotor is housed within the head drum of the conveyor. As non-ferrous metals pass over the belt, they are exposed to rapidly alternating magnetic fields. This induces eddy currents in the metals, propelling them forward and away from other materials. The result: precise separation of aluminium, copper, and other non-ferrous metals.
