Engineering in Action: The 450mm+ Working Gap Overband Magnet
One of our latest innovations is a large working gap crossbelt magnetic separator designed to safely and efficiently separate nitrous oxide canisters – a growing hazard in waste streams due to their explosive potential.
In a recent in-house test, this large overband magnetic separator was suspended above a magnetic conveyor at almost 500mm, this isn’t just big, it’s built for precision. Powered by our proprietary high-strength magnets, it’s designed for high-throughput, heavy-duty magnetic separation. Smooth, strong, and engineered to maximise metal recovery with minimal contamination.
